RESTORATION OF THE GLORY IN MAN

Introduction

This discussion will highlight the insights of God’s divine plan for the restoration of His glory in man. God’s eternal plan is to have continual relationship and fellowship with man. The restoration plan commanded in Christ the Foreknowledge of God’s eternal purpose is to restore the glory back to man. With the blueprint established at the Cross the Holy Spirit is now brought into action to accomplish this delicate plan. In this restoration plan, interestingly, the woman is now asked to join the process of restoration of the glory in man. As it will be discussed further, the woman is specifically critical in this restoration process. The Holy Spirit is placed in position to ensure the process of restoration is revealed and initiated. The revelation into the elegance and beauty of this restoration work is quite outstanding and in fact very intercret, yet very simple. It’s how man will accept and apply this with the inclusion of the woman, who perhaps the most integral part of the whole process in revealing the glory of God in man. The woman is part and parcel of the whole restoration work commanded from the Throne and guided by and through the Holy Spirit.

Alignment

Father and Son is in perfect alignment.  Every facet of their character and nature is in sync in personality that reaches to the highest equilibrium.

The Holy Spirit is on earth preparing man to be in alignment with God through Christ Jesus.  Preparing the alignment between the man and the woman, hence, the alignment in the family unit.  This alignment is critical in the manifestation of the image and glory of God in man through the perfect Man Jesus Christ.

The alignment can be described in the diagram below.

The Glory Revealed

The Glory Revealed

The Spirit of the Living God has this key responsibility in the coordination of bringing everything together.  The work of the Holy Spirit is hearing the revealed message from Jesus in the Throne Room, hence, provide Comfort, then teach and bring all things to remembrance.  Furthermore, to reveal the Truth about the glory that proceeded from the Father and Son.  Finally, to reprove sin, established right standing with God and reveal the judgment to the prince of this world.  And to guide into the things of the future things that is given to Christ so that it will be revealed in the husband and wife as the Testimony of the work of Christ.

Keeping the Ordinance

Ordinance means: An Authoritative Order.

Order means: The arrangement or disposition of people or thing in relation to each other according to particular sequence, pattern or methods.

  • An Authoritative Command or Instruction.

1 Corinthians 11:1-3 “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.  Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. {ordinances}  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God”.

The Order is as follows:

Head of Man is Christ

Head of Woman is Man

Head of Christ is God/Father

1 Corinthians 11:4-6  “Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.  But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.  For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered”.

  • When a man covers his head dishonours the authority of Christ over him.
  • When a woman uncovers her head dishonours the authority of the man over her.

Therefore, in accordance to the ordinance (order) the man praying or prophesying must leave his head uncovered to honour Christ’s authority over him.  Furthermore, the woman must cover her head to honour the authority of the man over her.

1 Corinthians 1:7  “For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man”.

The scripture helps us to understand that the man is the Image and glory of God.  And the woman is the glory of man.  The image and glory, is in reference to the Man Christ who is the Image and Glory of God.  Christ is the second Adam came to restore this image and glory back to man.  In regards to the woman’s covering symbolise authority which also shows the Angels the order of her being man’s glory.

1 Corinthians 11:8-16  “For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.  Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.  For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. {power: that is a covering in sign that she is under the power of her husband}  Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.  For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.  Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?  Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?  But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. {covering: or, veil}  But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God”.

In this context, the man is the image and glory of God when God first created him.  The fall of Adam through sin alienated man from God.  The second Adam has restored the relationship and the glory back to man.

Ephesians 2:10  “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them”. {ordained: or, prepared}

Galatians 1:16  “To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:”

The Book of Genesis 2: 23  “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man”. {Woman: Heb. Isha} {Man: Heb. Ish}

1 Corinthians 14:34-35  “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35  And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church”.

Genesis 2:21-25  “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. {made: Heb. builded} 23  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. {Woman: Heb. Isha} {Man: Heb. Ish} 24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25  And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed”.

Genesis 1:27-28  “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”. {moveth: Heb. creepeth}

Ephesians 5:22-25  “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24  Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”

Galatians 3:24-28  “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25  But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26  For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27  For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus”.

The scripture teaches us that man was created outside of the Garden and after it was finished God placed him inside to dress or attend to it.  Then God saw that he was alone and decided to give him a helper or help meet.  Then God put him into a deepl sleep and took out a rib from his side and created the woman.  Therefore, she was born from the womb of a man, hence a woman.  In the Garden they both were given the task to look after every living thing.  Both were ‘naked’ and weren’t ashamed.

The word “Naked/ness” is symbolic to being totally dependent on God.  Perhaps in reference to the ‘naked truth’ about God regarding His nature and character.  Naked/ness can represent having put on the garments of righteousness which is Christ Jesus, the truth.  Now man returns to the original meaning of being naked/ness being ‘dependant’ on God, through the ‘Man’ Jesus Christ the second Adam.  However, vice a versa, it is also symbolic to opening their eyes through the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Hence, now being independent (naked) to God.  The attainment of the knowledge resulted in them being alienated from the presence of God thus removing the glory from man.

An expression relating to the truth or bare truth.  In reference to Adam covering up the truth when he hid himself.  The truth has exposed his fear.

Revelation 16:15  “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame”.

Revelation 3:17-18  “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see”.

We understand that in the beginning man was created in the image and glory of God.  When sin entered, man was separated from God and the glory of God departed.  The second man, Jesus Christ the image and glory of God being the head of man must be revealed in man.  This must flow also to the woman and the children.  The revealed glory (Christ) must be manifested in the whole family unit according to this ordinance or order. (if we follow them)

For example, in terms of twins, there are two types, fraternal and identical twins.  The fraternal twins have two placentas whereas the identical twins share one placenta.  Each umbilical cord attach to the placenta feeds the individual babies.  It is important to understand the difference between the fraternal and the identical twins.  The fraternal twin concept is portraying the current situation, between the man and woman attached to two separate placentas.  The result of the revealed glory cannot be evident because they aren’t one although they are twins.  Therefore, these twins reflect the current status quo between the man and woman or the church in respect to the revealed glory.  However, on the other hand the identical twin reflects the aim to achieve and the result is the man and woman to reveal the glory.  It is therefore critical to understand this concept of the identical twins where they being separate beings, yet feeding off the one placenta.  This is the centrality of a man and a woman must come too, to reveal the glory of God that is Christ Jesus.  It is the position of man to come to this place of equilibrium with the woman that is identical to Christ, hence that gradually follows on to the wife and the children.  This is where the revealed glory of God, in Christ Jesus is shown in the whole family unit and the one new man.

The authority of man is Christ is shown not in the covering of the head.  The man becomes one in Christ in order to reveal the glory.  The authority of the woman is the covering of the head that is symbolic to reveal the glory of man that is upon the woman.  This authority is symbolic to Christ revealed glory of the Father that must be displayed in both the man and woman.

The man and woman must symbolically be like the identical twin feeding from the one placenta (Christ) for the glory to manifest.  This will reverse the process that had taken place in the Garden.  We understand that the instruction was given to man and not the woman, therefore he had always blamed the woman for his failure  of not obeying God’s instructions.  Perhaps the serpent had known that the instruction was given to the man and not the woman, therefore sought out to beguile the woman.  The serpent knew that it couldn’t persuade the man, but approaching the woman that she would entice the man.  All this time the man had suffered this fear complex defending himself from the same failure on what he should’ve done in the first place, by Not eating the apple.  By saying ‘no’ the instruction is not to eat from that Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Unfortunately, we know the result, which is now history.  However, man is in this position to rectify the situation because of Jesus who had changed the status quo, allowing this complex to be reversed brining again into the equation the woman to help restore the glory back to man.  This is the only way that the glory will be restored in man to fulfil the glory of God in Christ, following the order of alignment.

Matthew 28:18  “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”.

This power/authority in/on earth is upon the man as the image and glory of God.  This is to be revealed in man, however, this alone cannot be fulfilled unless the order is complete by the woman.  Because the woman is the glory of man, as man the glory of Christ and Christ the glory of God.  That’s the process that we need to have a spiritual understanding on what the Holy Spirit is actually putting together, as He did with the resurrection of Christ to the Father, now sitting at the Righthand side on the Throne, given all power/authority in heaven and in/on earth.  It is important that the woman (glory of man) take her rightful place in the order of things concerning the revealed glory (Christ) of God in the one new man.  The glory of man (woman) must be seen on man. How?  The process for this is having the woman in all the decision making concerning the things of God.  Once this alignment takes place, the revealed ordinance for the glory to be manifested bring it into unification with Christ and the Father.  When this order and authority is in perfect alignment, creating perfect harmony in the family unit and the body of Christ. – (the One New Man)

The man has the vision and the woman has the strategies and management to put it all together.  The Helper/Help Meet.

The reality of having the woman in its full context of being the glory of the man is revealed in the creation.  We know that the man was created from dust of the ground, outside the Garden, whereas the woman was created in the Garden where the presence of God was a reality for both the man and woman.  Therefore, we are able to see the difference in terms of location, but more so the essence of the glory.  God created the woman from the man’s bone taken from his side, not from the head to rule over him, not from the sole of the feet for the man to rule over her.  But from near his heart to love and care for her.  The rib cage also symbolises protection of the heart.  The woman symbolise protection to the man’s heart, as the revealed glory of man.  The fact of the matter is that the scripture teaches us regarding the glory, that Mary conceived the glory and the glory was revealed to Mary.  These are the examples as to why it is an important role the woman has in the restoration of the glory in man.  These are the facts that supports and qualifies the woman to be in the whole process of all matters concerning the revealed glory. They’re not seen as the helper in terms of the general meaning, but rather has much deeper meaning regarding to the restoring the glory.  In the first instance she didn’t disobey the instruction because she wasn’t aware of it and perhaps was relatively innocent.  The situation for man is that through disobedience comes fear and hiding behind that exterior creates torment. Therefore, in reverse the woman now is in the position to ‘help’ in this context, man to overcome this fear complex of failure and restore the glory upon man.  The role of the woman is essential to manifest the glory of God in man which is Jesus Christ.  Once man fully understand this principle and the significant role the woman plays, it is inevitable for the glory be restored back to man.  What was done in the Old Testament was a shadow of what is happening now, being revealed regarding the revealed glory in Christ, the image and likeness of God revealed in man.  And the woman carries the answer to bring alignment to the whole process of restoration.

Christ the mediator between God and man. Therefore, Christ is the centrality to reveal the image and glory of God in man.  The Original Design. (see paper original design)  The woman in this context regarding the glory completes the picture in the sense of manifesting the glory of Christ in man.  This is the revealed glory shown in the diagram below.

The man and woman must reach equilibrium in oneness as the Father and the Son.  The Holy Spirit is the mortar or the person is putting this process together as he did with brining the Son in union together with the Father on the Throne.  The Holy Spirit execute the word as it is spoke and it becomes reality as it is seen in the beginning.  The Spirit in the void and darkness and God spoke. Let there be light and there was light.  This is the reality.  This is the same process in terms of the revealed image and glory of God in the man Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:7  “For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man”.

When the oneness or completeness between man and woman is fully realised, then the scripture in Galatians 3:28 fulfilled, that, there’s …nor is there male or female…, for you are one in Christ Jesus. (glory revealed)  This is the manifest glory of God in Christ Jesus revealed in the fullness in man and woman.  The word “forasmuch” seems to indicate that man in the original sense created by God is called the son of God.  However, in this context is since diminished because of sin.  Likewise, Christ appearance as the original man, yet is God, to restore this original image and likeness back to man.  This scripture infers to this in the context where now Christ joins man back to its original image and glory of God.  Like Christ the fullness of the of man (because He came as a human man) so as the woman fulfils the fullness of the glory in man.

In the context of the woman being the Helper in Genesis 2:18 which has a much deeper concept to what God had in mind.  In the AMP Bible version, the woman is seen as ‘one who balances the man’ or counterpart who is suitable and complimentary for man.  The role of the woman compliments the role of the Holy Spirit as stated in the Gospel of John chapter 14, 15 and 16.  The role of the Holy Spirit describe in essence to the woman’s ability to bring man completeness with Christ as He is with the Father.  As Christ had pointed out His relationship with the Father are in sync in terms of the order of things, however, does not diminishes His role, but compliments it.  Likewise, the Holy Spirit similarly as pointed out by Christ that He (Holy Spirit) will hear what the Father and Son says and deliver the message.  The message, of a ‘Helper’ foster and nurture it into us.  Furthermore, the woman also plays similar role to that what God has given to man, she’s able to deliver the message and nurture it as a principle, that compliments the Holy Spirit role.  The role of the Holy Spirit along with the woman is significant in the whole process of reconciliation and restoration of the family unit and the body of Christ.
